3kg Straight Bar Load Cell
This sensor is a "Single Point" load cell, meaning it is designed to measure weight even if the load is not perfectly centered on the platform. Inside the aluminum body, four strain gauges are strategically bonded to the metal and wired into a Wheatstone Bridge configuration. This setup ensures that temperature changes and electrical noise are minimized, leaving only the pure weight data.

Key Features & Build:
3kg Capacity: This model offers a higher weight limit than the common 1kg version, making it perfect for postal scales, coffee scales, or small parts counters.

Strain Gauge Precision: The internal sensors detect microscopic "stretching" of the aluminum bar. This deformation is so small it is invisible to the eye, but the sensor can translate it into a readable electrical signal.

Durable Construction: The aviation-grade aluminum alloy is stiff enough to prevent permanent bending (creep) while remaining flexible enough to provide accurate data across its entire 3kg range.

Technical Capabilities:
Sensitivity (Rated Output): 1.0 ± 0.1 mV/V.

Excitation Voltage: Recommended 5V–10V (usually provided by the HX711).

Signal Output: Because the output is in millivolts, you must use an HX711 Amplifier to convert the signal into digital data for your Arduino or ESP32.

Wiring Standard:

Red: Excitation + (E+)

Black: Excitation - (E-)

White: Signal - (A-)

Green: Signal + (A+)

Installation & Mechanical Setup:
The physical mounting of a load cell is the most common cause of inaccurate readings.

Cantilever Mounting: The bar must be mounted so that it can "flex."

Bolt the fixed end (where the wires exit) to a heavy, stable base.

Bolt the floating end to your weighing platform.

Ensure there is a physical gap (using spacers or washers) between the bar and the base so it doesn't touch anything as it bends under weight.

Direction of Force: Look for an arrow on the side of the load cell. This arrow indicates the direction of the load. If you mount it upside down, your weight readings will show up as negative numbers.

Strain Relief: Ensure the thin wires coming out of the sensor are taped or glued to the fixed base. If these wires pull on the internal gauges, it will cause "drift" in your measurements.
