20kg Straight Bar Load Cell
This sensor functions as a "Single Point" load cell. Inside the aluminum beam, four strain gauges are bonded to the metal in a Wheatstone Bridge configuration. When a load is applied, the beam undergoes microscopic elastic deformation, changing the electrical resistance of the gauges. This change is converted into a tiny millivolt signal that represents the weight.

Installation & Mechanical Setup:
To achieve 24-bit precision, the physical installation must be flawless:
1. The Cantilever Mount: * Bolt the fixed end (where the wires exit) to a rock-solid, heavy base.
o Bolt the floating end to your weighing platform.
o Use spacers or washers to create a clear gap so the middle of the bar does not touch the base or platform as it flexes.
2. Directional Loading: Look for the arrow on the side of the load cell. It must point downwards in the direction of gravity.
3. Cable Integrity: Secure the signal wires to the fixed base using a zip-tie. At 20kg loads, any mechanical vibration in the wires can translate into "noise" in your weight readings.
