IR (Infrared) Obstacle Avoidance Sensor Module
The module consists of an IR Transmitter (the clear LED) and an IR Receiver (the dark-colored photodiode). The transmitter continuously emits infrared light. When an object comes within range, that light bounces off the object and is captured by the receiver.

• Simple Logic: It provides a Digital Output, meaning your code only needs to look for a HIGH or LOW signal. There is no complex math required to know if something is in the way.
• High-Speed Detection: Because it uses light, the response is nearly instantaneous, allowing fast-moving robots to stop or turn before a collision occurs.
• Adjustable Field of View: Using the onboard potentiometer, you can fine-tune the sensor to trigger at 2cm for precision tasks or 30cm for general navigation.
• Ambient Light Immunity: Most modules are designed to ignore standard room lighting, focusing only on the specific IR frequency emitted by its own transmitter.
