R307 Optical Fingerprint Sensor
The R307 uses an optical scanning technique. When a finger is placed on the glass prism, a built-in light source illuminates the ridges of the fingerprint. The sensor captures this reflected light to create a high-resolution digital image, which is then converted into a unique mathematical "template" for secure storage.
